Environmental Analysis Workflow

RhinoLands incorporates Grasshopper components, meaning that objects within it—such as plants, plant rows, terrain, walls, and more—are equipped with Grasshopper components. These components enable us to connect them to algorithms in Grasshopper.

This functionality has been instrumental in developing environmental analysis capabilities. By linking the landscape model of RhinoLands, to external environmental databases or utilizing Grasshopper add-ons like Ladybug tools, users can calculate various parameters such as the cooling effect of plants on the ground, radiation absorbed by plants, and more.
