Topiary is the art of clipping trees and shrubs to shape them as sculptures. You can imagine many amazing form and themes for adding a unique topiary sculpture to your project or creating a thematic garden with various forms of topiary.
You may decide to have some topiary sculptures in your landscape project. One of the most important things to do is to choose the proper plant species. The plant must normally be evergreen with dense foliage and strong enough to be cut frequently. Some of the most adequate plants to be selected for topiary are: Buxus sempervirens, Taxus baccata, Prunus lusitanica, Teucrium x lucidrys, Griselinia littoralis, Ilex aquifolium, Ilex x koehneana, and Quercus ilex.
In the landscape design process, you must select the desired topiary form and create or insert that 3D form. Then, you indicate the plant species. Lastly, you will need the amount of plants used for the topiary. This process in Lands Design becomes easier with a particular tool. In the forthcoming version (V.5.5), We have developed a special tool to create topiaries from any object. With this tool, simply insert or model any 3D shape and convert it into a topiary coated with the desired vegetable texture. The plant will be automatically added to the project plant list.
