A Biodiversity-focused Park
Project Overview:
This urban park is designed with a layout of organic forms, inspired by the morphology of an amoeba. The repeated fluid and harmonious pattern creates a variety of distinct spaces, each with its own unique identity. These sinuous shapes are not only visually striking but also facilitate the natural integration of diverse plant communities, showcasing a carefully curated selection of botanical richness.
Strategically positioned water features throughout the park enhance the sense of freshness and serenity. These elements contribute to the site’s microclimate by regulating temperature and attracting local wildlife, while inviting visitors to pause and enjoy the tranquility they offer.
The park also includes designated recreational areas, equitably distributed to promote inclusion and enjoyment for all age groups. Rest zones featuring ergonomic benches and furniture are integrated along the pathways, providing visitors with opportunities to relax and connect with nature.
A bar cafeteria located in a strategic area of the park serves as a meeting point and observation hub. Its open design and terraces provide panoramic views of the landscape, making it an ideal spot for contemplation and appreciation of the environment.
This project aims to not only enhance the urban space aesthetically but also deliver a comprehensive sensory experience where contact with nature and the functionality of landscape design merge seamlessly. The result is a unique space with a distinctive identity deeply rooted in its environment.
